| Jim Spencer
is credited with the concept of establishing a volunteer
program for the Boy Scouts and other groups as far back as 1972.
He was very active with the mountains and the Forest Service. Here
he is seen with Mike McIntyre, the Forest Archeologist.
Unfortunately, Jim became afflicted Alzheimer's
Disease and finally died this year, 2005.
